Francis and Friends Family camp, August 18-21:

The weekend begins Friday evening, August 18 and includes activities for Friday, Saturday and Sunday....families can choose to go home Sunday afternoon (August 20) after the program is finished or spend another evening at camp participating in additional Francis and Friends or park activities and head home Monday morning (August 21).

Rev. Jesse Miller will be facilitating the program.

The program includes:

  • themed days and an outline of activities with supplies included that can be done as part of each theme.
  • a certain amount of downtime as families require it
  • time for families to be together, eating, playing and worshipping as a family.

Families can choose to come for all 3 nights, or just 1 night.  They can choose to join in the group meals or provide their own meals. Families can bring a camper or tent or stay in one of our cabins.

This program is special because it suits the nature-based setting within the Cypress Hills. It focuses on awe and wonder in creation. For those who respond most to the experience of God as creator, it is powerful. It is inclusive by design for those whose faith is a family affair.
